The Africa Goal Project has been showcased by Social Innovations in Health Initiative, after reaching the final round of competition.
The Initiative is an international collaboration between the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town, the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University and TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases, hosted at the World Health Organization in Geneva.
The Initiative aspires to grow the collective knowledge about social innovation in healthcare delivery in three ways:
- To identify high impact healthcare delivery solutions through a global nomination call
- To learn in depth about these solutions and to share this knowledge across contexts and boundaries
- To support the creators of these solutions to grow their work and to connect them with the necessary policy makers and funders.
